One of the things I love most about hosting is meeting people from all walks of life and helping them discover the area through a local's eyes.
Having lived here for many years, I know many of the hidden treasures that visitors often miss. Beyond Wembley Stadium and Central London, there are peaceful parks, canals, countryside walks, local restaurants and charming corners of West London that don't always appear in the guidebooks.
Many of my guests visit for major events at Wembley Stadium, whether it's football finals, concerts, NFL games or special sporting occasions. While I may not be an expert on football itself, I absolutely love the passion, excitement and camaraderie that sport brings people.
One of my favourite memories was hosting a lovely family of football fans who travelled to Wembley for a big game. We shared conversations over breakfast, talked about their team and laughed together throughout their stay. Before they left, they gifted me some of their team flags and memorabilia, saying their visit to Bliss Home had become part of their Wembley experience.
For me, hosting has never been only about providing a room. I was raised to believe that guests should be treated like royalty and welcomed as family. Whether a team wins or loses, what people often remember most are the experiences, conversations and connections they make along the way.
After all, visiting one of the world's most famous stadiums is something special regardless of the final score.
And if you're lucky, you may even spot Bliss Home's resident mascots, Arjun and Aryaan, playing in the garden. While neither has officially declared their football allegiance yet, both seem convinced they could make the starting eleven for any team willing to provide treats and cuddles.
If you're visiting for a Wembley event, I'd be delighted to share local tips, hidden gems and recommendations to help make your stay even more memorable.
Home With Heart – A Live in Bliss Experience™

London is often known for its iconic landmarks, bustling streets, world-famous shopping and royal history. From Oxford Street to Buckingham Palace, there is certainly no shortage of fascinating places to explore. As a British-born Indian who grew up in London, I was always captivated by the city's rich history, diversity and endless opportunities to learn about different cultures.
What I love most about London, however, is not just the famous sights. It is the incredible mix of people, traditions and faiths that exist side by side. In many neighbourhoods, you will find a church, temple, mosque and synagogue all within a short distance of one another. To me, this diversity is one of London's greatest treasures.
Having grown up with both Eastern and Western influences, I have always enjoyed learning from different cultures and sharing my own experiences with others. Some of my favourite moments as a host come from introducing guests to places they might never have discovered on a typical tourist itinerary.

Guests often tell me that their stay at Bliss Home felt like experiencing India through the eyes of a Londoner. Whether visiting beautiful temples, enjoying traditional food, learning about cultural traditions or simply sharing stories over a cup of tea, these moments of connection often become some of the most memorable parts of their trip.
In one of the busiest cities in the world, I believe there is still space for kindness, spirituality and genuine human connection. Whatever our faith, background or beliefs, there is something beautiful about learning from one another and recognising the values that unite us all.
For me, travel is not simply about visiting places. It is about understanding people, appreciating different cultures and discovering that, despite our differences, we all share the same desire to love, be loved, grow and belong.
At Bliss Home, I hope guests leave not only having seen London, but having experienced the warmth, diversity and community that make this city so special.

One of my favourite memories at Bliss Home was meeting Anne, who booked a short stay while attending a friend's wedding in London.
By what felt like pure coincidence, Anne had chosen to wear a beautiful traditional Indian outfit but wasn't quite sure how to put everything together. Little did she know that her host happened to be British Indian and had grown up surrounded by the colours, traditions and celebrations of Indian culture.
I was delighted to help.
Together we adjusted her outfit, explained some of the customs she might encounter and helped her feel confident before the big day. When she returned from the wedding, she couldn't stop smiling. Her friends had commented on how beautifully and professionally her outfit had been arranged and were amazed that her host had helped prepare her for such an important occasion.
Anne later joked that she felt lucky to have found Bliss Home and that I had helped remove so much of the stress from the multiple days of festivities & outfit changes.
What began as a guest stay quickly turned into a friendship.
During her visit we shared stories, laughter, a few drinks, plenty of conversations and discovered a mutual love of cats. Aryaan, one of Bliss Home's resident mascots, was particularly fond of Anne and often found excuses to curl up beside her whenever he had the chance.
Even after her stay ended, we remained connected through social media and still exchange messages today. She continues to entertain me with her wonderful stories and adventures.
Moments like these remind me why I created Bliss Home.
It has never been simply about providing accommodation. It is about creating a welcoming environment where people feel comfortable, supported and cared for. Sometimes guests simply need a peaceful room and privacy. Other times they need a little guidance, a listening ear, local advice or help navigating an unfamiliar culture.
Whatever the situation, I am always happy to help where I can.
Because the most memorable journeys are rarely about the buildings we visit or the photographs we take.
They are about the people we meet along the way.
